Buckley Brothers Fence Co. is an owner-operated fencing outfit working out of Revere, and by the reviewers' own accounts the owner, Sean Buckley, is the person who shows up. The work is fence installation and repair — wood, picket, vinyl, gates and arbors. Job values in the written accounts run from about $180 to $3,000, which places it squarely in repair-and-replace territory rather than large commercial runs: replacing rotted posts on a picket fence, hanging a galvanised driveway gate, straightening a misaligned gate another company had left behind. Responsiveness is the single most repeated theme, and it is specific rather than vague. One homeowner reported Sean calling back less than five minutes after submitting an enquiry form. Another described him fixing an arbor gate and realigning a fence gate the original installer would not come back for. Several mention being told plainly what they did not need — one reviewer credited him with explaining "exactly what I needed and exactly what I DIDN'T need" — and repeat business shows up directly, with one customer describing a third job for their family. The record is not spotless. In a March 2021 review a customer called the work "very shoddy", said they texted the company to fix the problem and never heard back, and judged it not worth the cost. The company replied on the same page that she had called on the Friday night of a long holiday weekend and that they returned the call once the office reopened. Both accounts are worth reading before you book, and it is reasonable to ask how callbacks and warranty work are handled. One thing to know about the numbers: the Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles are the same review corpus published twice, not two independent sources. Treat the 108 ratings as one platform's total, not two. This is a sensible choice for a homeowner who wants a small, owner-run outfit for a gate, a repair or a residential fence run, and who values getting the owner on the phone quickly.

Sean Buckley called me less than 5 minutes after I filled out the form! He came over and knew exactly what I needed and exactly what I DIDN'T need. He was so great. Never tried to push me into spending more than I had to. He gave me a very fair price and returned the next day to do the job. He replaced one rotted fence post, straightened up another, and then replaced a few pickets. Done in no time. Just amazing - going to keep his number forever! ($365, Wood Fence Repair)

Job was to replace 3 rotted fence posts on a four foot picket fence.after viewing the fence,I was given two options for replacing the old posts with new and how much the job would cost.i made my choice,we selected a day and time and was given an exact dollar amount for the job.and two days later, the job was done perfectly!no surprises, just quality work and completed exactly as we had discussed.it was a pleasure to do business with this gentleman and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a quality fence repairman ($625, Wood Fence Repair)

Sean came and quickly fix my arbor gate and also adjust the misaligned fence gate. I really appreciate his help as the company that installed the fence didn’t want to come for this small job. I will not hesitate to recommend and call him again next time. ($180, Vinyl or PVC Fence Repair)

Yes, I recommend this pro. Sean was great. Gave me a good, fair price, showed up when he said he was going to and did a great job on the instillation. The finished product looks great. Very happy all around. I would highly recommend. ($3,000)
