Camilos Carpentry llc

Camilos Carpentry is a Boston-area finish carpentry shop that's built a striking run of five-star reviews in a short window — built-in cabinets, crown molding, trim and casings, and custom closets are the work people keep writing about, with an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration behind the name. The volume here is unusual for how recent it is: 38 reviews since 2024, effectively all five stars, most of them from mid-2026. Customers describe the same things over and over — precise, clean finish work and a crew that shows up on time. One review called out a set of high-end custom cabinets with 'every cabinet perfectly aligned, seamless joints, clean lines, and a flawless finish'; another praised the interior finish work across custom closets, built-ins and cabinetry as top quality. Several reviews, written in both English and Portuguese, name the owner Julio directly as polite, professional and dependable, and multiple customers specifically mention fair, reasonable pricing. A Thumbtack profile backs this up with a separate, smaller track record — one five-star review from 2024 calling the work well done and courteous, and 43 projects shown on the platform. The two profiles don't fully agree on how long the company has been around, though: the company's own site says it was founded in 2023, about three years ago, while Thumbtack lists six years in business — worth asking about directly if company history matters to you. There's no negative account anywhere in the record to weigh against the praise, which is itself worth noting given how new most of it is; a homeowner doing diligence on a fast-growing small shop should still ask for a couple of independent references beyond the reviews. For a homeowner in the Boston area who wants finish carpentry — custom cabinets, trim, closets, stairs — done with precision, this is a well-regarded and licensed choice; just clarify how long they've actually been operating and get a couple of references for a larger job.
