Cape Cod Floors Inc is a flooring business. Its website lists hardwood floor installation, hardwood floor refinishing and restoration, luxury vinyl plank, floor repairs, subfloor repair, tile removal, epoxy floor application and minor carpentry. It says it has been in business 20 years, lists a service area of Sandwich, Orleans, Mashpee, Brewster, Chatham and Barnstable, and states that it offers free estimates and is insured.
In Orleans, Alex and his team refinished the floors in one home and helped choose a stain to match the existing floors. On another job, Cape Cod Floors refinished 35-year-old oak floors, feathered in new wood where tile had been, and converted carpeted plywood stairs to oak. Alex changed the color of a set of stair treads to match the hardwood floor. Alex and his crew handled two projects for one reviewer: first refinishing the floors, then repairing damage from a dishwasher leak by replacing the warped floorboards. For one kitchen, they first removed a tile floor and then replaced it with hardwood. Oak flooring went into a lower-level living room and hallway in Yarmouth Port, where the owner, Alex, was responsive and quoted a reasonable price.
A general contractor wrote that Cape Cod Floors completed an LVP installation over a concrete slab for one of its projects in Barnstable, and a construction company working in the Chatham area wrote that it has worked with Cape Cod Floors on several projects involving pine floor refinishing.
In a 2026 review, two other contractors had said a pet-stained floor had to be ripped out and replaced; Alex and his team refinished and stained the hardwood instead. In another 2026 review, Alex and team built a transition from kitchen tile to a lower hardwood floor and made a wooden cover for a crawl space trap door; when the cover swelled with changing weather, the team came back and made it right. In a 2021 review, Alex's crew moved heavy furniture to the basement and back, and the job was done on time for the quoted price. In a 2019 review, Michelle, Eugene and Alex did a large job in Harwich.
