Two names run through most of Cape Home Kitchen & Bath's Google reviews: Kristin (sometimes spelled Kristen) and Jason. The company's site describes a Cataumet-based kitchen, bath and cabinetry-focused general contractor and design-build remodeler serving Cape Cod homeowners, owner-operated by Jason Fisher and Kristin Whalen, and names a service area that includes Bourne, Falmouth, Sandwich and Mashpee. Its Google page shows 5 stars from 25 ratings, and all 21 written reviews, from 2021 to 2026, are 5-star. The newest are kitchens: in a June 2026 review, a customer said they were delighted with a kitchen renovation done with Kristin and Jason, and a May 2026 reviewer who designed a new kitchen and pantry with the company said Kristin and the team were professional and accommodating. The longer accounts are about planning. A July 2024 reviewer whose 40-year-old kitchen and bathrooms were remodeled described a plan with blueprints, timeframes for picking appliances, a budget with a payment schedule and a computerized picture of the finished rooms, and said the company finished when it said it would, on the budget it gave. In an August 2023 review, a customer said an entire first-floor renovation, quoted at 15 weeks, was finished in 11 to 12. A January 2025 reviewer called a bathroom renovation efficient, timely and exactly on budget. Older houses come up too. In an August 2024 review, a customer who had a kitchen and four bathrooms renovated said the home was old with somewhat crooked walls and the team made everything work. In a March 2024 review, the customers had an old cottage kitchen turned into an office and a new master-bath shower put in; Jason found a flooring company to weave new planks into the existing floor, which avoided a total floor replacement. On Houzz, the profile shows 12 showcased projects and a 5.0 rating from 1 review, and the company's site calls it an NKBA award recipient. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #202458, is expired on the state registry.
“Picture this: a dreamy Cape Cod retreat designed as a relaxing getaway for a busy New York family. Kristin nailed it with Galaxy Dove and Timber cabinetry, accented by exposed beams, soft lighting, and warm brass hardware.”
