In a 200-year-old house there are not many 90-degree corners, and in a July 2024 review a homeowner said Capstone's templating and installation crews still fit the stone in several awkward spots. Countertops are what Capstone Marble and Granite is hired for: the Haverhill shop designs, fabricates, cuts and installs stone countertops, and says it was founded by Marcelo Abreu in 2006 as a family-owned business. Google shows 4.5 stars across 25 ratings and Houzz 4.9 across seven, with written reviews going back to 2014. Kitchen countertops come up again and again. A July 2025 customer said the installers took their time with a quartz countertop, and an April 2024 customer chose a dark black stone and said the crew installed it quickly. In a May 2025 review, a customer said the countertop job was done on time, as promised. In May 2026, a customer with a new granite countertop credited the communication, workmanship and price. Customers often name staff. Several November 2025 reviews name Josh, one of them thanking him for a home project and a larger renovation at the reviewer's business office. Jillian is named for help with choosing and measuring in July 2025 and in Houzz reviews from 2014 and 2019, and Marcelo in Houzz reviews from 2014 and 2019. A November 2025 reviewer said the company had done several kitchens and bathrooms for the family over the years, including tile work, and another that month said it did two bathrooms. Its BBB grade is A+.
