Wander returned after payment to fix details a Colorset Painting Plus customer noticed once their interior plastering and painting job was finished. In that July 2026 HomeAdvisor review, the customer described sheetrock replacement too, called the price reasonable and said Wander came back a couple of times after they contacted him. Houzz places Colorset in Marlborough, Massachusetts; an August 2025 Angi customer identified Wander Pereira as the owner. Another July 2026 HomeAdvisor customer described painting a 12-by-25-foot front porch and one interior wall. They said the worker arrived on time and kept working until the job was done. A separate customer that month praised responsiveness, affordability and attention to detail. In September 2025, an Angi customer praised their completed deck painting. Exterior projects have included work at height. An August 2025 Angi customer described a house with high peaks and problem areas needing two coats of stain. They said the estimate was reasonable, Colorset began on a date they chose and finished in a timely manner. A different August 2025 reviewer said damaged trim wood 40 feet up was repaired and the job completed in one day. A November 2025 Angi customer praised painting that left everything clean. Other customers reported problems with both the work and the response to a dispute. In August 2025, an Angi reviewer alleged that the master bedroom was painted the wrong color, carpets were stained and paintbrushes were rinsed in bathroom sinks, splashing paint around. That customer said the owner kept messaging and threatened them after they refused to pay the remaining balance. A January 2025 Angi reviewer described interior painting they had to touch up themselves, complaining about sanding, coverage and brush marks. They also said they stopped Colorset's floor-refinishing work halfway through, paid Wander $3,000 and then paid another contractor $6,000 to correct it. In November 2020, a different Angi customer reported missed closet sections, an unpainted door, messy stair edges and inadequate preparation and sanding. A November 2024 customer said their job went well but ran a few days longer than expected. Angi and HomeAdvisor each list a 4.5-star average from 29 ratings. Houzz lists remodeling and deck building among Colorset's offerings, while Thumbtack lists handyman work and bathroom remodeling.
