Custom Coatings

One Custom Coatings customer used their newly finished garage to host a party when rain changed the plans. Others describe epoxy garage floors, resurfaced patios and coated pool decks. The Hyannis business says it is family-owned, began in 2006 and serves Cape Cod, including Chatham, Dennis, Falmouth, Harwich, Orleans, Mashpee and Yarmouth. Its website also offers basement floor coating, concrete polishing, stamped concrete sealing and cementitious urethane coating for residential, commercial and industrial customers. Garage floor work accounts for many of the customer descriptions. An August 2026 reviewer named Jake for the estimate, Brandi in the office, Devin as project coordinator, and Hercules and Ron as the technicians who applied the epoxy flooring. The customer said the team kept its schedule and did what it promised. Another customer described Devin explaining the preparation, Ron and Clayton joining the work, and the crew returning the next morning to seal the floor. A May 2026 reviewer said the company adjusted the schedule for weather and installed a polyaspartic garage floor coating. Outdoor concrete work gets specific praise too. A July 2026 customer described the crew preparing an old, cracked, uneven patio, installing edging and troweling Vuba stone over the surface to cover high and low spots. A June 2026 customer had hired the company three times: for a two-car garage, a basement and a 25-by-35-foot equipment storage facility. In November 2025, another customer described a decorative flake garage floor finish and a resin moisture barrier on the lower foundation walls to address humidity coming through the concrete. Repairs have brought different experiences. A July 2026 customer said the first coating on concrete entry steps did not adhere properly; the company called back immediately and returned promptly to fix it. A November 2021 reviewer said the company responded to a work problem but never showed up. In a review first posted in May 2022, a customer described flooring that later blistered and leaked, followed by years of unsuccessful requests for a resolution. The customer's December 2025 update said Jake's team replaced the failed flooring at no additional cost under warranty, and the customer recommended the company again.
