I had an outstanding experience with Davenport Construction on my second floor remodel in Osterville. Troy was fantastic to work with—flexible, professional, and always great at communicating. Doug is a master craftsman with amazing attention to detail and such an easygoing personality. The quality of their work and level of service exceeded my expectations. I will not hesitate to go to them for future projects, they have my highest recommendation.

We hired Davenport to transform our unfinished basement into a comfortable living space, office, bunk room, bathroom and gym. They custom designed and built cabinetry and bunks for our space, added larger windows for natural light and closeted off mechanical equipment. Davenport was reasonably priced, and even more important, responsive, meticulous, respectful, clean and completed our project on time. We were thrilled with their work! After an unfortunate water-related incident (unrelated to Davenport's work), we didn't hesitate to re-hire Davenport to restore our home to its original state. We were just as pleased with their work the second time around. We highly recommend Davenport Building for any custom carpentry, home remodel, and construction needs.

We hired Davenport to completely remodel our bathroom, to make it accessible in case we were ever disabled or got old (which is happening even as I write). Troy Walls and his team (Doug and Art -- a pair of professional, personable people who knew their stuff) enlarged our shower and had it exchange places with our bathroom sink/vanity. They widened the door frame of the bathroom (and our bedroom) to allow wheelchair access; they relaid the floor and added amenities like a timer-heater for the shower, a fan, etc.; and they added grab bars. Their work was efficient and steady; they disturbed our life and home as little as possible; they took care not to let dust and debris from the bathroom blow into the bedroom while they were working; they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves when the work was done; and they made sure we were entirely satisfied with the job before they signed off on it. Months later, when we had a minor problem with a shower door, they immediately came back and resolved the problem.
