Delta Clean Air runs on volume — 626 Google ratings averaging 4.9, an A+ from the Better Business Bureau, and the word that shows up over and over in the reviews is "fast." Based in Boston, they clean air ducts and dryer vents in homes and apartments across the area, and the bulk of the record backs up the reputation: technicians who show up quickly, walk customers through the process, and leave rooms clean when they're done. The specifics back up the volume. In a 2024 review, a customer called out the "attention to detail" of a duct cleaning where "every nook and cranny" was covered; another described Delta "rebooting the dryer" to bring back heat that had gone missing. A 2024 customer who was skeptical going in ended up won over, saying their dryer worked "better than new." One reviewer who had friction with the company early on said management stepped in and fixed it quickly. What's worth knowing before booking: a cluster of reviews running from 2024 through mid-2026 describe a very different experience — an on-site quote well above what the work should cost. One customer was quoted over $2,000 for HVAC cleaning on a two-bedroom apartment plus $1,400 for a booster fan, with no invoice offered before work began; another was quoted over $1,000 on the spot after a walk-through. A 2024 reviewer said a $475 quote dropped to $375 only after they pushed back, versus $148 elsewhere. A December 2025 review described a simple 20-minute dryer-vent job billed at $300 plus a credit-card surcharge and a tip request, and guessed the work was being subcontracted out. Another reviewer walked away entirely after what they called a "hard upsell." The pattern in these isn't about the quality of the cleaning itself — nobody in this group complained about the actual result — it's specifically about what gets quoted at the door. Get a firm price in writing before the technician starts, and don't feel pressured into add-ons on the spot.
They did a great job today fair prices and knowledgeable staff can’t get better!!
I imagine most of the positive reviews are bots. This company is SCAMMING. We were quoted over $2000 for an HVAC cleaning job on a 2 bed apartment and quoted $1400 to install a booster fan for our system. They also don't provide invoices to sign ahead of starting work.
