Design House 413, based in Easthampton, MA, describes itself on its website as a local design-build company offering one-stop, start-to-finish design, installation and project coordination for kitchens, homes and businesses, with products and services including cabinets, countertops, islands and cabinet hardware. A 2024 Family Handyman article named Brenda Chicoine as a co-owner and said she had been a kitchen designer for twelve years. In a 2026 Google review, a customer said Bree had designed a second kitchen for them, helping select every detail from the cabinets, tile, flooring and faucets to the finishing touches, and that Corbin then brought those designs to life; the review describes the two as a husband-and-wife team. The same customer called them always respectful of deadlines and said their contractor commented on their ability to stay on schedule. Another 2026 review said Brenda had designed a second kitchen for that customer, calling it efficient and spacious. In a 2026 review, Casey Cronin of CroninCraft, a residential remodeling contractor, wrote of working with Design House 413 on numerous projects over the years and praised how they guided clients through cabinetry layout, storage, budget and finish decisions. In a 2023 review, a customer said Brenda, the owner, completely redesigned the layout of a small ranch kitchen, and that a team including Corbin, Jeff, John, Toby and Maz handled the demo, refinishing and install. A 2022 review described leaning on their expertise in kitchen design and cabinetry specification for a couple of years. In a 2019 Houzz review, a customer said Brenda and Brie listened, came up with a design and executed it, and that Corbin was patient with questions when installing; that customer advised not to let the "by appointment only" scare anyone. A 2019 review said Brenda made the dysfunctional kitchen in a house they bought functional and beautiful. In a 2017 review, a business owner described a remodel of their business that took about 2 months from first meeting to finish, with about three days of construction, so the business closed for only 1 day; the work covered cabinets, counter tops, sinks, a wall accent, paint and mirrors. A 2017 review of a bathroom remodel said they helped keep costs reasonable with good quality products. Another 2017 review, about a kitchen, said they were always available, on time and accurate in their estimates, and that Brenda Chicoine offered many creative ideas. Its Houzz profile lists 2 Houzz Awards.
