Ferrick Brothers Moving works out of Groveland, and the thing that turns up in review after review isn't the truck or the crew — it's the owner. Bob Ferrick answers the phone, comes out to quote, and in one March account was standing in a customer's living room within two hours of the call. The company says it was founded in 1996 by brothers Steve and Bob Ferrick, both Haverhill High graduates, and puts itself at 30 years in business. Its BBB profile matches that start date and carries an A+ grade, though the company is not BBB accredited. On Google it sits at 4.9 across 80 ratings. What people hire them for is the careful work. A restored antique refrigerator, double-wrapped and delivered without a mark in June. A set of heavy china cabinets from a late mother's house to a child's home in Woburn. A four-bedroom move in May that included setting up a commercial gym. One business uses them for office moves and equipment runs from Boston to the North Shore. The crew names recur across the write-ups — Dante, John, Jeff, Nick, Anthony, Wayne — which counts for something in a trade that often runs on whoever showed up that morning. The other repeated theme is the bill. Reviewers say the quote gets explained up front and holds at the end: one April customer moving within Haverhill wrote that the agreed price never changed, and a February customer reported the final bill matching the estimate exactly after Bob walked through it in detail. Nobody in the recent record describes a surprise charge. Two things worth knowing before you book. The registration numbers on the company's site — a Massachusetts DPU number, an MC number, and a US DOT number — are its own statement, not something checked against a registry here, so ask to see them if that matters to you. And while the written reviews are detailed and consistent, they all date from 2026 and all sit on Google, so this reads as a current picture rather than a long one. They're the right call for a household move where fragile or heavy pieces are the worry, or a small office relocation on the North Shore. Get the estimate in writing, and ask who the crew lead will be — by the reviews, that is the part that shapes the day.

Excellent experience. From the very first conversation, your team was easy to work with. Communication was clear and timely, and you handled our scheduling needs smoothly. Moving day was equally impressive—your team worked efficiently, professionally, and with great care, especially when handling our very large, heavy piece of furniture. From start to finish, everything was handled with skill and respect. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend your team!

Ferrick moving did a great job. We had restored an antique refrigerator and were worried it might bet banged up getting it home. Bob Ferrick came out himself. His guys were total professionals. The fridge was double wrapped and handled gently. Perfect delivery!
