Franey Mechanical Services, Inc

A heating-system leak during heavy snow brought Franey Mechanical Services to one customer’s home: in a February 2022 Google review, the customer said the crew repaired a leak that had sent water onto the basement floor after a day of mopping. The Mashpee company describes residential heating, cooling and air-quality repair, replacement and maintenance across Cape Cod, including geothermal systems, heat pumps and duct testing. A May 2023 reviewer said the company proposed a solution that was better and less expensive than the customer’s original idea, and praised the field team’s clean and safe work practices. A March 2025 reviewer, however, complained about rude treatment and a failure to follow through on appointments. The company’s stated service area includes Mashpee, Falmouth, Barnstable, Sandwich, Yarmouth and Dennis, along with nearby Cape communities. Google shows 4.3 stars from 12 ratings. Its Massachusetts licence 62-SM-B is active under R J Franey Mechanical Services Inc. BBB gives the business an A+ grade and reports 29 years in business. Its accreditation status is disputed between the two sites: the company’s website claims BBB accreditation, while BBB explicitly says it is not accredited.
