Gaudet Heating and Cooling

Gaudet Heating and Cooling is a small, owner-operated HVAC shop on Cape Cod run by Gregg Gaudet, whose Massachusetts sheet-metal/HVAC license is active with the state registry. The self-reported history says Gaudet has done HVAC installation and repair work since 2002, and BuildZoom's permit records back that up at scale — 41 permitted projects since 2023, putting him in the top 9% of Massachusetts licensed contractors by BuildZoom's score, with recent Falmouth-area permits for furnace, air-handler and mini-split heat pump installs. Every review in the record is positive. Customers describe a mini-split replacement that was timely, well done and cost-effective, with Gaudet's office proactively finding and filing a rebate the homeowner didn't know existed, and a separate large, complex job completed quickly with help navigating the MassSave rebate process. More than one reviewer calls out the small, family-feel operation and quick response to service calls. There's not much of a written record to weigh against that — only eight reviews on file, one of them in the past six months — so the picture here leans on a short but consistently positive run plus a solid, verifiable permit history rather than a deep volume of customer feedback.
