Two customers hired FS Rebar for the job somebody else wouldn't take. In a January 2019 review, a homeowner with a leak upstairs wrote that it is hard to get anyone to even look at a small job, and that Fitzroy took it and carried it out; in an August 2022 review, another described him installing a roof deck that a previous contractor had left unfinished. The company is a North Truro general contractor — remodeling of kitchens, baths, basements and additions, carpentry, concrete for patios, steps and decks, and countertop and cabinet work — and says it has served Truro and Barnstable County since 2017. Decks and outside carpentry come up most. A July 2018 customer had a deck repaired, found him on time and easy to reach, and got the job back sooner than expected. A February 2020 reviewer had the whole house reshingled and all the trim changed. A July 2023 customer watching a new deck go up singled out the written estimate for how detailed it was. The longest view comes from October 2025, from someone who says they have used him for 15 years, from major remodeling down to minor maintenance. Price draws the same note twice: a December 2018 reviewer called him very fair on pricing, an October 2021 reviewer called him reasonable. One thing to know going in: the written history is dated, with most of the accounts running 2018 to 2021 on Angi and a few Google ones since. On licensing, the company's own site lists B3124/205375, and Angi and HomeAdvisor list a Massachusetts trade licence, CS-113124. Those two profiles also state free estimates, no emergency service and no warranties. A fit for a small-to-mid job on the Outer Cape — a deck, a leak, a kitchen update — where you want the owner doing the work himself. Ask for the detailed written estimate one customer praised, and settle the timeline before he starts.
