Gas Associates

Gas Associates does the engineered end of heating and cooling. BuildZoom's profile lists 20 permitted jobs in Beverly, Brookline, Cambridge, Weston and Waltham dating from 2013 to 2019 — mechanical, sheet metal, gas and plumbing permits, among them a $600,000 geothermal HVAC system and a $250,000 hydro-air system. The company describes itself as a full-service design-build HVAC contractor in Haverhill working on high-end custom homes, with geothermal, condensing boilers and radiant heat, and says it has been family owned and operated since 1984. Its BBB page lists John Williams as the owner and eight employees. Its Massachusetts licence, 463-SM-B, is active on the state register. A good fit for a designed custom-home system — geothermal, radiant or a high-efficiency boiler. Ask for references on a recent install close to yours in size, and settle what the service and maintenance plan covers before you sign.
