Gega Home Improvements works small, individual home-repair jobs around the Boston area — a handrail here, a storm door there, a bit of siding or a window swapped out — the kind of grab-bag list that shows up again and again in its Angi and HomeAdvisor reviews. Both platforms put it at 4.8 stars across 22 reviews, and the name that keeps coming up is Artur: reviewers describe him replacing storm doors and an attic access, installing a handrail down to the basement, and fixing porch siding, usually calling him prompt and fair on price. One 2022 Google review put it plainly — a window replacement "turned out even better than I had hoped for." The record isn't spotless. In a 2023 review, a customer says Artur repaired siding well but backed off a steep roof repair and "didn't fix anything, but still charged me almost full price." A more recent, January 2025 review describes a different pattern — the initial job went fine, but a follow-up call for more work went unanswered. BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#145327) for the company, filed under Shyqyri Gega — a different name from the "Artur" reviewers describe doing the work, which is worth asking about directly. The business also shows up at two different addresses across its listings, Westwood on Angi/HomeAdvisor and West Roxbury on BuildZoom. For a small handyman-scale repair — a door, a window, a handrail — the track record here is solid; for anything bigger, like a full roof, confirm upfront what they will and won't take on, and get any follow-up work agreed to in writing.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Gega Home Improvements. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A day rate replaces the task list — usually the better deal once the list gets long.

Pleasant, polite, Efficient . Did a wonderful job . Looks great! Highly recommend!
He did the initial work, but when I called later for more work he ghosted me.
After engaging with Angi, Artur Gega contacted me within the first hour. He continuously communicated with me and found the time to get the job done the first day after our initial contact. Very professional during the entire project.
I hired Arthur for a minor repair of the siding and a minor fix on the roof. The siding repair was done well, but when it came to the roof repair, Arthur thought that it is too steep for him to walk on the roof. So he didn't fix anything, but still charged me almost full price. I wouldn't recommend his business.
Had Artur do a few projects for us. He's installed a handrail going down to the basement, installed storm doors and recently installed an attic access. He's great. Shows up, gives me a fair quote, and gets the job done right. I don't worry much just give him the job and he gets it done
