An entire room installed, sanded and given its first coat in a single day: that is what a customer described in a February 2025 review of Glorious Flooring, and quick turnarounds come up over and over in what people write about Vincent and the team. The Dorchester company covers Boston and, by its own account, installs hardwood, laminate, vinyl and tile and handles sanding, refinishing, staining, repairs and stair work for homes and commercial spaces. Most of the work is wood. A May 2026 customer had kitchen tile demoed and replaced with hardwood feathered into the existing floors — "you honestly can't tell where the old ends and the new begins". In a March 2023 review, a homeowner who had taken down two brick walls and been left with cement-filled gaps in the wood said the crew chiseled out the cement, repaired the area and matched the wood so it looks like there was never any damage. What comes up more than once is what they find under the floor. A May 2025 homeowner said the team noticed signs of water damage coming from the subfloor and that Vincent opened up the walls to investigate. A March 2025 customer said they were told the moment a rotted subfloor turned up, and that it was dealt with on top of the agreed scope, ahead of the scheduled completion date. A landlord in 2022 said the crew reinforced a subfloor weakened by a leak and laid a new tile floor in a tenant's bathroom. Price comes up as fair rather than cheap. A condo customer in March 2025 called it "affordable especially for being in Boston"; an October 2023 customer said the quote was competitive with the other companies they had contacted. The work also runs a little past flooring: a May 2026 dining room got new hardwood plus wall and ceiling painting, a May 2025 job included retiling a bathroom floor with the plumbing disconnected to do it, and a 2022 review describes a hole in a bathroom ceiling, left by a plumber, patched along with a section of wall. Quotes come fast — one customer in May 2026 got a price on the spot at the first visit — so get the scope down in writing, and settle in advance how a bad subfloor gets priced if one turns up. For hardwood installation, refinishing, stairs, or new wood that has to disappear into old, this is a natural call around Boston.
I had Vincent and team out to install flooring after an emergency plumbing situation had my basement hammered out. Vincent was responsive, fast, friendly, and honest. The price was more than fair and I’m glad I went with him. He and his team finished the work in less time than quoted while doing high quality work. They went above and beyond to replace baseboard they didn’t need to and put the flooring into some utility closets which I wasn’t expecting. What really set them apart was the high quality work. They moved quickly and with care. Finished work looks great and I’ll probably never use another flooring contractor while I live in the Boston region. Highly recommend.
Vincent was excellent. He coordinated a quick visit to look at the room and gave me a price on the spot. Work started a couple of days later and he transformed our dining room with new hardwood, wall and ceiling painting. He also helped with moving some heavy furniture in and out of the room. Really appreciated the quality of the work, responsiveness, and price. Would highly recommend.

The refinishing throughout the downstairs came out beautiful and looks completely refreshed. They also handled painting, and everything turned out clean, polished, and professionally done. Communication was consistent, they were always on time, and I got regular updates throughout the process. The job was completed on schedule, and the overall result is impeccable.
Vincent is a fantastic flooring expert. Professional, kind, very helpful and hard working. He and his team took care of a difficult, small house project, and helped even with little patch jobs that I didn't initially realize I need it. Highly recommend hiring this company for your flooring needs!
