Rob Grant completed a small bathroom remodel in my Cambridge condo over a couple of weeks in Dec 2022. The work involved replacement and adjustment of bathroom fixtures (shower, lights, overhead fan). Post-installation finishing work included matching existing paint and replacing portions of drywall. He completed the work very efficiently. Everything works perfectly and looks great. He provided advice on job details that minimized the costs and extent of the renovation, and managed all aspects of materials selection, purchase, pick-up and installation without additional workers. He communicated all aspects of the work clearly and performed all work according to planned schedule and budget, with minimal noise and clean-up (critical for work within a larger condo building). He is easy to work with and took care to understand the details of the fixtures, including use of the color adjustment on the new LED lights to match existing fixtures. Rob has a broad-based background for remodeling projects and I recommend considering him for any scope of work that can be managed and performed solely by him, or with the help of a small crew under his direction.

Hiring Grant Associates was a wonderful experience for us. In 2019 we had a significant issue with a closet ceiling damaged by a wasp nest and multiple exterior issues including damaged vinyl siding pieces, rotted trim, warped porch stairs and landscape issues. We hired Robert@Grant Associates after learning of his skillset and willingness to work multiple diverse issues. Couldn't be happier with his attention to detail and quality of his work. Best of all Robert did everything diagnosis cause, materials, repair/installation, painting, and clean up. As an example diagnosis of our closet ceiling damaged by wasp nest found that porch roof protecting part of the closet had water damaged wood as initial roofing was done w/o barrier material under shingles (a real problem as higher roof valley drained onto that 1/2 of roof. The repair involved sheetrock, carpentry, painting, and roofing skills. Robert even located a unused security cable I hadn't been able to find. From our initial interview Robert knew we wanted minimal maintenance repairs. So trim repairs were made with cedar or manufactured wood. Trim was professionally painted with premium paint. Vinyl siding was repaired with pieces we provided from initial build (worth holding onto these). Other work included, making beds, mulching, paver walkway, rear stair replacement, and painting bulkhead. Being able to address so many issues that accrued over 20 years was very valuable to us. After 3 1/2 the work continues to look great. Particularly impressed with the bulkhead head painting as it only had primer and rust on it before Robert painted it.
