An attic that used to hit 140 degrees in summer and freeze in winter now sits within a couple of degrees of the rest of the house — that is what an April 2026 customer reported after Green Way Insulation sprayed expanding foam on the roof deck. The Danvers company does residential and commercial insulation: spray foam, fiberglass, blown-in cellulose and Roxul mineral wool, plus fire retardant paint. It says its team has more than 20 years in the trade, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. Attics are most of the work. A July 2025 customer had an unfinished attic that was getting dangerously hot sealed with open-cell spray foam and wrote that the second floor cooled off as well. In February 2026 a homeowner had the old attic insulation pulled out and the floor cleaned, and called it the best price around. An October 2024 reviewer described the crew stripping the old insulation from under the house, bagging it, hauling it away and then spraying underneath. Further back, a July 2021 Angi customer had foam applied to the exposed roof deck and blown-in insulation set between the unexposed deck and the interior walls. Several reviewers name Gabriel on the estimate and the site visits: a November 2025 customer called him quick to schedule with good pricing, and an August 2025 reviewer gave credit to installers who worked through two of the hottest days of that summer. Cleanup comes up a lot — a June 2025 customer said nothing was left behind and the insulation inspection went through easily, and a 2020 Angi reviewer said the attic was cleaner than when the crew arrived. The complaints run to showing up and finishing. In April 2022 an Angi customer wrote the work was meant to happen on a Friday and the employees called out; that October a homeowner had an appointment for an estimate and got no show and no call, then texted and called without a reply. A February 2023 Angi review says only that the project was incomplete. And a March 2025 Angi customer, otherwise satisfied, said the covers were left on the lights and the smoke detector, and that the company agreed to come back for them and then never showed up. One 2024 Angi customer raised the work itself: in a very small, tight attic, the insulation did not seem to be performing well after installation, and when the company came back and re-inspected, the inspector found many areas that were not done correctly and had to redo them. For an attic or crawl space that is cooking the floor below it, this is a shop with years of that exact job behind it, at prices several reviewers call fair. Pin down the start date and what happens if a crew calls out, and walk the space with them at the end before the last payment.
