Hamilton Construction Group, LLC

Hamilton Construction Group is a general contracting business on Winthrop Street in Roxbury, with Paul Hamilton named as the responsible person on its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration. That registration, #159683, is expired on the state registry — it took effect 2008-05-19 and expired 2010-05-18. Massachusetts requires HIC registration for most residential remodeling work, so before anything else, ask Paul Hamilton where the registration stands now and look the number up yourself on the state's Contractor Hub. If the answer satisfies you, treat the rest as standard practice on a remodel: scope, allowances and a payment schedule in writing, proof of current liability and workers' comp coverage, and a couple of recent local jobs you can ask about.
