Hastings Floor Covering reads like an established Groveland flooring shop with a real showroom-and-installation model, not just an installer working out of a truck. The company says it is family owned, has operated since 1976, and handles flooring products plus residential and commercial installation from its Salem Street location. Google lists it at 4.5 stars from 31 ratings, while BBB gives it an A+ grade. The recent praise is concrete. One June 2026 customer said Hastings handled removal and installation on a tight pre-move timeline while working around painters, other contractors, and movers. Other 2026 reviewers describe two-room carpet installation, stair carpeting, whole-home flooring covering carpet, tile, and laminate, and help from showroom staff with samples, measuring, scheduling, and installation. There is also a recent complaint homeowners should not skip. A March 2026 reviewer described incomplete grout, chipped tile, an unfinished row under a sink, delayed responses, and payment friction across repeat jobs. That is specific enough to matter, especially for tile work, even though most recent reviews are positive. For carpet, hardwood, vinyl, tile, area rugs, and commercial or residential flooring installation, Hastings has the depth and history to be worth a call. Pin down who is responsible for punch-list items, when final payment is due, and how tile or grout corrections will be handled before the job starts.

Hastings Flooring did amazing on our removal and install. We were working on tight timelines before a move with limited access to the house and they pulled it off. We had just had our house freshly painted, they were clean, avoided dinging any of the new paint and were in and out of here in just a few days working around additional contractors and movers. Thank you all so much for making this happen for us! I would recommend Hastings to anyone needing flooring!

This was our second floor with this company. Hastings did an awesome job - Randy was the installer. It came out perfect! Thank you! We will use you again!

Hastings Floor Covering, Inc just finished new carpet in two rooms and they earned a 5 star review. The crew of 3 men were experienced, capable, polite and respectful of ourselves and our home. I can recommend this company and their employees unconditionally.

Had 3 jobs done by Hastings. Second job took final payment before they came back out to fix incomplete grout. 3rd job, they were looking for payment days after not responding back from our original email that chipped tile was laid and a row of tile under the sink was not completed. They also recommended having the bathroom professionally painted before tiling which was a terrible idea because it was an absolute mess and visible baseboard separation from the wall, removing that clean aesthetic look. Felt like a waste of a grand paid for the paint job. Both jobs were calculated poorly for number of days needed, which resulted in unexpected time off work. Finally, snow recently melted from their last job and found cut tile and mortar dumped in the snow bank, now on my front lawn.

Hastings has replaced all of my flooring over the past 20 years. Hardwood, tile, vinyl, and carpeting. Couldn’t ask for better service. Christine Brady has been so helpful with her guidance in the showroom. I couldn’t do any of this without her!
