Hawthorne Builders

Thirty-one years in business and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau are the two headline facts about Hawthorne Builders, a Braintree general contractor built around new home construction, additions, kitchen remodeling, renovations and light commercial work across the South Shore and Greater Boston. The company's website names Stephen Sullivan as its president, and BBB has accredited the business since 2017. Its self-reported service area covers Abington, Braintree, Hanover, Hingham, Holbrook, Milton, Quincy, Randolph and Rockland. The company's own website also lists a Massachusetts construction supervisor license (CS052954) and a home improvement contractor registration (114256) — worth asking about directly, since those are the company's own numbers rather than a state registry check. Worth a call for a South Shore addition, remodel or light commercial job; confirm the license and registration details and get a written estimate before signing on.
