Holland Hardwood Floors

More than 1,000 square feet of maple flooring over 70 years old were restored by Tim and Dan, according to a June 2026 homeowner. The customer described Dan working the edges and corners by hand with a scraper and chisel while Tim sanded away the wear. Holland Hardwood Floors is based in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts, and Google lists a five-star average from 19 ratings. A July 2026 reviewer said Tim and Dan refinished living-room hardwood that had spent more than 50 years under carpet. The customer called the review overdue and described reasonable pricing. Tom and Anne of Auburn, writing in June 2026, said Tim provided a clear, detailed estimate and that he and Dan arrived on time. They replaced carpeting with hardwood, finished it to match the adjoining floor and refinished the dining room. A May 2026 customer praised a bedroom hardwood installation, reasonable pricing and communication throughout the work. Another May reviewer described sanding and staining five-inch white oak. A separate customer writing that month said Tim fitted their roughly 1,200-square-foot refinishing project into the following week, before they moved in. They wanted the natural red-oak tones without staining and said Tim recommended a tough topcoat because they had a dog. In an April 2026 review, a homeowner described luxury vinyl plank installed throughout the first floor. Tim and Dan prepared the subfloor to make it level and laid continuous flooring without transitions except at the sunken living room, where they installed solid-wood steps matched to the flooring’s color. The customer praised daily cleanup, reasonable pricing and patience while they managed a new puppy. An August 2026 customer said the crew’s equipment did not leave dust all over the home. In November 2025 reviews, one customer described Tim and Dan removing carpet and installing hardwood in second-floor bedrooms while keeping the space clean. Another said Tim restored a 20-year-old floor and repaired a large gouge in a butcher-block counter, with the work completed within the promised time frame.
