I cannot recommend HomeTrends based on my recent experience. I scheduled an in-home appointment to have 12 windows measured. No one showed up, and I was left waiting at home with no apparent notice that the appointment would not be kept. I contacted HomeTrends afterward and expressed my frustration about the missed appointment and the time I had wasted. I was initially told they would arrange for someone else to come out. Instead, the owner subsequently told me that it would be better for me to take my business to another blinds company and that they no longer wanted to work with me. That response surprised me. A missed appointment can happen. What mattered more to me was how the company handled it afterward. Rather than apologizing, taking responsibility, and trying to make things right, their solution was essentially to tell the customer to go elsewhere. There are plenty of companies selling and installing window treatments. Based on my experience, I would choose one that is more reliable, respects its customers' time, and makes customers feel that their business is valued. BTW, they did tell me if I wrote a negative review that "I was a bad person". Well, this review is only intended to give you, the consumer, an insight to my experience. I am not sure that constitutes me as being a "bad" person, but again maybe insight to how HomeTrends perceives upset customers verse working out an amendable solution.

I must compliment this store on their exemplary customer service. I brought a Hunter Douglas shade in this morning for repair and I got a call to pick it up very soon after. They are the best place to buy all window treatments and definitely shades. I highly recommend Home Trends! I worked with Myrna, who's awesome!

Mirna was awesome! I brought in a Hunter Douglas blind for repair that I had purchased 15 years earlier. I came in on a Saturday 15 minutes prior to the store closing and Mirna was so accommodating and pleasant to work with. In fact, I had inadvertently left one part of the blind at home that was needed to complete the repair, and she even offered to stay open late so I could go home and get the part. I declined and brought the part back that week but just the fact that she would even offer this was above and beyond. Overall, every experience I had with Mirna and the store from start to finish was positive and easy. Thank you for the great customer service! I look forward to coming back.

Always use to repair my Hunter Douglas blinds. They do a nice job Ty so much!!
