Roost Roofing and Siding is a Needham exterior contractor whose own site puts siding first (vinyl, fiber cement, composite and engineered wood), with roofing and windows alongside. It describes itself as family-owned and working on Greater Boston homes for over 15 years. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor (HIC) license, held by Roost Home Services LLC, is active on the state registry. Its Google listing holds 4.9 stars from 56 ratings, and many of the written reviews name the company Peguero Construction and its owner, Ray. In an October 2024 review, a family replacing 30-plus-year-old vinyl siding on the street side of a three-story house said the company scheduled a site visit for the next day, and Ray spotted waterproofing problems they had missed. A December 2021 customer said that when a storm-broken branch punched a hole in siding less than a year old, Ray and Kevin replaced it at no charge. Roofs are the other steady job. A June 2024 reviewer described the roof stripped completely and the plywood, ridge vent, drip edge, flashing and shingles reinstalled in one day. In a June 2023 review, a customer said James explained the materials and helped choose a shingle color, the crew worked into the evening and wore safety harnesses, and a supervisor checked the finished work. A December 2025 reviewer said Ray planned siding, windows, a front porch and a back deck and worked within their budget when problems with earlier construction turned up.
James was a pleasure to work with! Got our basement window replaced
Ray was a pleasure to work with in the planning and overseeing of our siding, windows, front porch and back deck redo. He got back to me right away to start quotes for the various work and came out day after we spoke. The work by his team (headed by Omar) was top notch and they worked with our budget very well, especially when we found some unforeseen issues with the previous construction. Their commitment to their customer is among the best in the business. I will be calling Ray for any future construction projects that may arise. In an industry where things can get difficult, Peguero construction puts you at ease. Don’t hesitate to call them for your next home renovation project!
My job was a little too small for them but they called me back and helped guide me towards how to get my problem solved and what paths I should take. Very professional and they didn't have to take the time to do so. Thank you.
I had the pleasure of working with Peguero Construction for a window and siding replacement project, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, the team delivered top-notch service. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to perfection. Ray, in particular, was a joy to work with—he’s friendly, honest, and extremely professional. The quality of their work is unmatched, and it's clear they take pride in what they do. If you're looking for reliable, high-quality construction work in the area, I highly recommend Peguero Construction!
My experience with Peguero was excellent! Ray and Kevin were very professional, responsive, and always on time. From the time of our initial consultation, Ray pointed out several issues with our deck that we knew would need fixing. He also helped us resolve some additional issues on our property as part of the deal. Ray’s experience and craftsmanship were the right fit for our project and I appreciated both his candor during the process and willingness to explain things to me and my husband as first-time homeowners — it felt like having a great mentor help us out.
