Seven of the eleven people who reviewed Homeworks Remodeling name Bruno, and four of them were writing about a repeat job. The Melrose company says it started there in 2002 and now works across Greater Boston — kitchens, bathrooms, basements and additions, with carpentry, flooring, siding and decks alongside. Bathrooms are where the detail lives. A July 2025 customer interviewed three contractors for a full gut bathroom renovation and picked this one; a February 2026 homeowner writing about a master bathroom remodel had already hired them for a second bathroom. In June 2025, another client had a basement and a bathroom done together and described an unfinished basement turned into a finished room. Kitchens run second. A 2024 reviewer's kitchen remodel came with crews that showed up on time and a project manager who answered questions promptly; in April 2025, a church had a new kitchen installed and the reviewer said everyone there liked how it came out. What customers keep raising about Bruno is how fast he answers. A September 2025 homeowner who was wary of hiring a contractor found through Facebook ads said he responded immediately; a February 2026 client described him as very responsive, with a calm demeanor. On a May 2026 job — the customer's second with the company — Wallace was credited with finishing his part on time and the flooring crew with doing the job well again. The working history runs longer than the review count. A 2024 reviewer wrote that Bruno and Jeff had done two remodels for them over the previous five years, and a May 2026 client who calls Bruno their go-to contractor uses him for both their own home and their rental properties. Another 2024 customer bought a fixer-upper in Melrose, met Bruno and Jeff through a friend they had worked for, and found structural issues once the renovation was underway. Twelve Google ratings at 5 stars, nine at 5.0 on Houzz, nine on Thumbtack — and the jobs behind them cluster on bathrooms and kitchens around Melrose and the inner suburbs. For a gut bathroom or a new kitchen, this is a reasonable call. Since that fixer-upper turned up structural work mid-project, settle in writing how a change in scope gets priced before demolition starts.
“For 7 ductless heat/AC units we got quoted for $42,000 pre-mass save rebate by Homeworks.”
This was our second project with Bruno and his crew. Wallace went the extra mile to finish his part on time and the flooring crew did a great job, again! We will be calling again when the need arises. Thank you for a job well done.
Bruno has been my go-to contractor for years, handling projects at both my personal home and rental properties. His work is consistently high quality, and he’s always reliable and professional. He’s easy to communicate with, responsive, and makes the entire process smooth from start to finish. Beyond the work itself, he’s also just a great person to deal with, which makes a big difference. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for dependable, top-notch work.
We are over the moon with the remodel of our master bathroom. We HIGHLY recommend Bruno and his team. We had such a good experience we have hired them to do a second bathroom!! Bruno is really a pleasure to work with. He is VERY responsive with a super calm demeanor. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and communication was always clear and consistent. He keeps great tabs on his crew also, making sure everything was done correctly and to our liking. We can be picky and I’ll say there wasn’t much to be picky about. Quality work. The crew also was incredibly hard-working and respectful of our home. They showed up on time each day, kept the workspace clean, and took obvious pride in their craftsmanship. Their attention to detail truly shows in the final result. Our new master bathroom feels like a spa retreat — exactly what we envisioned and more. Every element, from the tile work to the fixtures, was completed with precision and care. We highly recommend them to anyone.
Before we were hesitant to deal with contractors from FB ads without checking their history. I prayed to God to help us and to trust this company. We contacted Bruno and he immediately responded which we’re not expecting due to some experienced from other contractors. We closed the deal quick and from day 1 we can tell that they know what they’re doing. Even when we left for vacation and they finished it before we came back. Stress free, quick, professionals, and we lately found that they’re all Christians. God bless your hardworking guys and your family. 5 thumbs up for me.
Homework's LLC was one of three contractors I interviewed for a full gut bathroom renovation. We selected this company based on their professionalism and commitment to deliver our vision for the space. Homeworks did not disappoint. They transformed two aged bathrooms into a spa experience complete with his & hers shower system, my existing cast iron claw foot tub, and his & her sinks. Bruno was responsive and communicative throughout the process and addressed any concern I had in a timely manner. If there was anything that wasn’t consistent with my vision, we were able to pivot and make the necessary changes. They accomplished everything I asked for that could be accommodated in the space. I would definitely recommend and use their services in the future.
