House Doctors Handyman of Milford is a handyman business. In a 2021 review, a customer called them very professional and said they did an excellent job repairing a kitchen floor. A 2022 review called House Doctors highly efficient, polite and friendly. In a 2024 review, a customer wrote that they showed up promptly, but that a painting quote did not include the paint, and that one year after a job replacing and painting door casing and trim, the material used bubbled and blistered. The same 2024 review said the handyman who came told them the bottom weather stripping on an exterior door couldn't be replaced and the door would have to be replaced instead. A separate 2024 review came from a customer who hired Gary Roberts from House Doctors Handyman to work on two bathrooms; condo rules limited the work to two days a week, and the customer wrote "10 weeks later, and 20 days later not one bathroom is complete!"
They showed up promptly, that was the last and only thing they did properly. One quote was for painting. When they called to schedule they explained the quote didn't include the paint. Another quote was to replace and paint replacement door casing and trim. One year later, the material used bubbled and blistered. An exterior door needed bottom weather stripping replacement, the handyman who came said it couldn't be done and the door would have to be replaced. Which of course blew the quote away. I would not have them back.
I recently hired Gary Roberts from House Doctors Handyman to work on my two bathrooms. Because of my condo rules, he can only work when I’m home which is two days a week. 10 weeks later, and 20 days later not one bathroom is complete!
House Doctors were highly efficient, polite and friendly. Really a pleasure to deal with.
