The company says it's been doing this in the Boston area for more than 35 years, and several reviewers describe using them repeatedly across multiple properties over the years. The technicians reviewers name most — Justin, Tom, Dan and John among them — get credit for diagnosing problems quickly and giving straight answers, including talking a customer out of repairing an aging fridge with a refrigerant leak and recommending replacement instead in an August 2026 review, and reinstalling an ice maker on an older Liebherr fridge in a September 2025 review after the original retailer, Yale Appliance, wouldn't do it. Landlords and property managers describe relying on HUB for scheduling within 24 hours across several units. There are real complaints to weigh against that. The Better Business Bureau grades the business C and lists two complaints on file. In a June 2026 review, a customer described a technician who left without confirming a washer leak was actually fixed, then said the company wanted an additional $85 for a replacement part — the same account appears as one of the BBB's own complaints. Scheduling has also tripped up a few customers: in a March 2026 review, someone said the company denied any record of a call they'd made two days earlier, and an April 2025 review described a missed first appointment with no record of it on the company's end; a July 2026 five-star review mentioned a similar no-show even while praising the repair itself.
