Irish Painting LLC

Customers of Irish Painting write about Eoin, not about a crew number — in one case about Eoin and Clio, the two who showed up to paint the inside of a house. The Cambridge company says it has been painting since 1992, past 1,000 customers by its own count, covering Cambridge, Somerville and the wider Boston area: interior and exterior work for homes and businesses, plus staining, paint removal, decorative painting, power washing and light carpentry. Testimonials on its own site name Eoin McCarthy as the owner. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #157071, is active, and the Better Business Bureau grades the company A+. Google shows a 5-star average from 9 ratings. The written reviews are short but concrete. In a June 2024 review, a Cambridge homeowner said Eoin and his crew had painted the exterior of their triple decker the year before, had stood by the work, and had been hired back for an interior project. Another June 2024 customer wrote that Eoin and Clio painted their home's interior and were punctual, tidy and meticulous. Back in April 2022, a reviewer described a repaint that ran through a dining room, a bathroom and the living room, and said Eoin was responsive through the quoting and turned up exactly when he said he would. This is the kind of outfit that suits an occupied Cambridge or Somerville home — triple-decker exteriors, room-by-room interiors, the owner on the job. Before booking, confirm the registration and insurance, ask what surface prep and how many coats the quote covers, and get a couple of recent references for work like yours.
