Johnson Bath Repair is an Oxford-based specialist in bathtub and shower repair, reglazing, and refinishing. The company’s website says it has more than 10 years of experience renewing bathrooms, and its work is repeatedly described by customers as restoring worn, cracked, discolored, fiberglass, porcelain, and cast-iron tubs to a like-new appearance. The written customer history is unusually consistent: Google shows 5.0 stars from 47 ratings, while Thumbtack and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 ratings. Recent Google reviewers describe careful venting, maintenance guidance, prompt communication, clean work, and repairs that blended into the surrounding surface; one homeowner said a 90-year-old tub was transformed from peeling and scratched to shiny again. The work spans reglazing and repair of tubs, showers, fiberglass floors, tile, sinks, countertops, and epoxy surfaces. Customers also describe reinforced shower or tub floors, crack and hole repair, clawfoot-tub refinishing, and handling manufacturing defects or failed prior finishes. Before booking, confirm the exact surface and repair method, curing or ventilation requirements, and the scope of any warranty: HomeAdvisor states that no warranty is offered. Johnson Bath Repair looks best suited to homeowners who want to preserve an existing tub or shower rather than replace it. Ask for a written scope and timing, especially when materials must be ordered or an old repair needs removal and preparation.
I discovered that a fiber glass tub had a crack in the floor, causing a leak. I called Johnson Bathroom Repair after reading their positive reviews. I met Kevin who came and gave an honest assessment of why this occurred and a recommendation of how to rectify it. The tub was not salvageable so I had it replaced. His pricing is competitive and his work is quality. He showed up on time and completed the project within a timely manner. This was important because there is a tenant living in the space, so the short inconvenience was appreciated. I am very satisfied with his professionalism and the end product. I would recommend him as well as re-hire him if I had another similar project.

Kevin did a great job and made our shower stall look like new. He is professional courteous and friendly He provides excellent customer service and explains everything about the process how to provide maintenance on the finish product. The project went extremely smooth and we are very happy with the final results
Kevin's workmanship is outstanding. Our shower stall looks new again. A true professional—responsive, communicative, respectful, meticulous about venting the fumes outside, and thorough with post-glazing care instructions. As expected with reglazing, the odor was strong at first but stayed confined to the bathroom and adjacent room and dissipated with additional venting. We were able to stay home throughout the project. Excellent work.
