Its own website separately claims "45 years of experience," which doesn't line up with a 2004 or 2005 start date — worth asking about directly. The clearest praise comes from a repeat customer's 2023 reviews: they describe using JOMI for many projects over the years across excavation, foundation work, and snow removal, calling the company their go-to contractor and praising on-time, on-budget results. More recently, a June 2026 review rated 3 stars describes a cost that roughly doubled because of repeated trips back to the job site, including a separate $3,000 charge to return and hand-dig a footing — a specific, recent complaint about how extra costs were handled, alongside a same-month five-star review calling the service fast and collaborative. Given the mixed and fairly thin written history — four reviews total, with a real billing complaint as recent as this summer — get a clear, itemized scope of work and pricing in writing before starting an excavation or foundation project with JOMI.

Project became having to deal with JOMI and Boston Iron Works. Overall cost soared two times as much because of leaving and returning to the site. There was $3000 to come back from the site for the footing but no equipment was involved since it was a hand dug. There was also a “dispute” as to footing was even included in the contract but the diagrams were provided in drawing and engineering fees were charged. In the end the location of drawings from the end were never accurate (footing was never put on the correct side of the building.
We have had Jomi Corp. fulfill many projects over the years. They are our go to contractor. I highly recommend Them!!
Jomi Corp. has done work at my home and my office and every time Mike and his team have gone the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. They are on time, on budget and they do excellent work. Should I have any excavation, foundation, snow removal needs in the future I will absolutely be hiring Jomi Corp.
