Junction Mechanical is a mechanical contractor at 588 Pleasant Street in Norwood, Massachusetts, working both sides of the same trade: commercial HVAC, Carrier i-Vu building automation and energy management for healthcare, military, industrial and commercial facilities, alongside residential heating, cooling and plumbing. The company's own site says it has been doing this across New England since 1977 — 48 years by its own count. What customers describe is fast, hands-on service on the days it matters. In an April 2026 review, a customer whose heat failed late on a Friday night called on Sunday expecting to leave a message and had a technician named Dan on site within the hour; the part was not available until the supplier opened Monday, and the repair itself took about half an hour. In March 2026 another reviewer called out an emergency drain service handled quickly by Greg and his team, and a third had a hot water heater replaced "in a timely and professional manner". Water heaters and plumbing come up repeatedly. A March 2026 reviewer said the team showed up on time, explained everything before starting, and cleaned up when the job was finished. In a November 2024 review, a customer singled out William for plumbing work they called meticulous, and in an October 2023 review a household that found a leak in an old tank credited Greg, Tyler and John with the replacement. The commercial side surfaces too: in a 2022 review, a rental operator said the company researched, ordered and installed a part for a cooler during a busy rental period and kept up the twice-yearly maintenance. Two things are worth asking about. The company's public marketing leads with healthcare, military and industrial facilities, so as a homeowner it is worth confirming how residential calls are scheduled against that commercial workload — the Sunday callout above suggests it works, but ask. And the Porch listing claims a service area of roughly 171 Massachusetts towns, so confirm they genuinely dispatch to your address and what response time looks like from Norwood. Junction Mechanical is a sensible first call for a homeowner facing a dead boiler, a leaking water heater or a drain emergency, particularly if you want a firm that also handles commercial-grade equipment. I had my heat break late on a Friday night. Called on Sunday thinking would leave a message. Had a service technician Dan within an hour! I was elated! It was a Sunday and part needed store was closed BUT had the part first thing Monday when store opened. Came back and installed and fixed within a half hour! The service was outstanding and friendly technician. Dan “is the man”! I can’t say thanks enough for your service and definitely why this business is successful! Thanks again! Dana
Junction replaced my hot water heater in a timely and professional manner. Very pleased with their service! William W
I recently had some plumbing work done and couldn’t be happier with the service. The team was professional, showed up on time, and explained everything clearly before getting started. The quality of the work was excellent and everything was cleaned up when the job was finished. It’s great to see a local company that takes pride in their work and treats customers right. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services!
I had an emergency drain service. Greg and his team were quick and fantastic to work with I highly recommend them.
