Keating Construction is a South Yarmouth roofer that Cape Cod homeowners call for full roof tear-offs and trim work — and the reviews keep circling back to how thoroughly Tim Keating and his crew handle both. One standout: a homeowner with a century-old slate roof on a steep pitch says the crew stripped the old slate and installed new roofing in under two weeks, working carefully around every corner of a difficult job. That thoroughness shows up across the record. Reviewers describe full roof and trim replacements where the crew found rotten trim sections mid-job and replaced them at what customers called a reasonable added cost, rather than leaving the problem behind — one homeowner says the finished house "looks like a new house." One reviewer, a Realtor, says she has referred the company to clients and neighbors for years without a complaint. Another 2025 review mentions the owner had recently retired after 22 years but was still doing referral work. The company's Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSSL-099351) is verified active under Timothy B. Keating. BuildZoom separately lists that same license alongside a home-improvement-contractor registration and a windows-and-siding classification, and shows 304 permitted projects, mostly roofing. BBB lists the business — under the name Keating Construction And Roofing — as an 18-year, non-accredited sole proprietorship with no published star rating of its own. This looks like the right call for a Cape Cod homeowner with a roofing or roof-and-trim job, especially anything requiring some care around an older or unusually pitched roof. Worth asking directly about current availability given the owner's reported retirement, and confirming scope if the job runs into windows or siding — the review record itself is all about roofing and trim.
Tim and his crew replaced our roof, trim, drip edge, etc. They were extremely thorough from tear off to clean up. The workers were pleasant and careful. They went the extra mile to replace several rotten trim sections at a very reasonable additional cost. Going to use them again for another project. Highly recommend.
Being a Realtor we only recommend the Best Used him for my clients Never a complaint And they referred their Neighbors Just retired after 22 years.. but still getting his name out 🌟
Tim Keating Construction just replaced our roof and some trim, he and his crew did a great job. I highly recommend him. He also noted we needed some additional trim that needed replacing and did it at a very reasonable price. Our house looks like a new house.
We have an old house with a very steep roof, and slate roofing that was over 100 years old. Tim and his crew were able to strip the slate and install new roofing in under 2 weeks, which was impressive to us given the size and difficulty of the project! Friendly crew and attention to detail in every corner and crevice of the roof.
Excellent job. Worked quickly and kept place clean before and after. I recommend this company for a great looking finished product.
