A May 2022 Google reviewer said a replacement concrete floor looked sloppy on closer inspection, cleanup was incomplete, and they did not hear back after final payment. In March 2021, another Google customer said a patio topcoat deteriorated and Ken did not return to fix it. An April 2021 customer reported paying a significant deposit for work that never began, receiving only half back, and filing a small-claims case for the remainder. An October 2022 customer account reproduced on HomeAdvisor made more serious allegations about an unfinished cellar and foundation job. The writer said materials intended for disposal were hidden in a crawl space, stairs were removed leaving a fall into the basement, and multiple promised tasks were unfinished. They said they filed complaints with BBB and the attorney general's consumer-fraud division. The same writer also alleged an assault on a former customer; that is a customer's allegation, rather than a reported court finding.
Older HomeAdvisor reviews describe both completed work and later problems. In March 2014, a customer praised the garage-floor coating's durability but said slate on the front steps was crumbling. They reported repeated excuses about inspecting it and a curt, profane response. A February 2014 reviewer initially liked the job and color, but said cracking returned after winter, worsened over another winter, and requests for repair did not bring Ken back.
There are positive accounts too. A September 2012 HomeAdvisor reviewer praised the clean work process and said there had been no further water leaks so far. A May 2018 Google customer praised quick service and a fair price. Google lists 1.8 stars from five ratings, HomeAdvisor lists 3.6 from seven, and BBB gives the business an A+ grade.

Took elder female sister that lives on social security for 6300.00 Was supposed to clean and paint cellar and take stuff to dump. Instead he threw everything into a crawl space under porch and cinder blocked it up so we couldn't see inside. Ended up taking a sledge hammer to wall and found all the stuff crammed in it.. Also claims to have business insurance but doesn't! Unlicensed contractor too. Would show up at random times (11ish) and be gone by 230-3. Bailed on the job. Left me a mess to clean up. Took block out of hatchway and removed stairs , now it's a 5 foot fall into basement, repointed exterior foundation and left job undone.. Still have an area unfinished and never repainted foundation or grade dirt away from foundation. On second dumpster now. Filed complaint with BBB and Atty General consumer fraud division! I urge people to go to Google reviews , Yelp , Angie's list, and BBB .. I wish we did. Becomes argumentative. Punched one former customer who filed report with W.S.P.D. Everday it was something! Didn't feel I could trust him to be in the home when no one was home.. Should of went with my gut feelings the day I met him..
Hired to replace a concrete floor, took their time and seemed to know what they were doing initially. They made a mess as they went but figured they would clean up in the end? Only some of the dust. Upon closer inspection we ended up with a sloppy floor and never heard back from them for a checkup after they received final payment and were done collecting their supplies. Very weird, will never use them again and suggest to look elsewhere unless quality is not a concern.
Hired Ken and paid him a significant deposit one year ago. He never came to do the work blaming Covid. I asked for my deposit back and it took a long time for him to respond then he only gave me half. I filed in small claims court to get the rest and am still waiting. DO NOT hire this person. He is irresponsible and is lacking in integrity. I wouldn't have even given him one star but had to in order to post this
Don’t waste your time.
I called the guy a few times. Texted him picture of job and address. Maybe he didn’t want job but he never called back and when I called him he hung up. He is either driving or just doesn’t want the job but very unprofessional to hang up on a potential customer and not get back to customers. Communication should be taught to business owners. If your driving don’t answer. If someone leaves a message you call them back. Job too small. Let them know. Busy let them know. I wouldn’t waste my time again with this guy.
