Lausier Brothers, Inc. is a Salem, Massachusetts plumbing, heating, and gas company that traces back three generations — the company says it started with the founders' grandfather, who served as Marblehead's Town Plumbing Inspector, passed the trade to their father Mark Sr., and is now run by brothers Matt and Mark Lausier, with Mark holding the state Master Plumber license and Matt a Navy veteran and active Boston firefighter.
Across 24 Google reviews spanning 2024 to 2026 — 17 of them in just the last six months — the same two names and the same praise keep coming up: Mark and Matt show up fast, quote a fair price, and explain the work before they start. One reviewer described them keeping a boiler running through the coldest night of the year, arriving at 2am to do it; another said an evening call got a callback within ten minutes. In one review, a customer said a second opinion from Lausier came in well under another company's $7,100 quote to repair the same boiler. The jobs described go beyond routine repairs — a tankless water heater swap, a new gas line run for a range, a second water meter with the permitting explained along the way, and keeping an aging heating system going through winter.
Mark Lausier's Massachusetts plumbing license is active, and the company says it covers a wide swath of the North Shore — Salem, Beverly, Peabody, Lynn, Marblehead, Danvers, Swampscott, Gloucester, Newburyport, Haverhill, Lawrence, Andover, North Andover, Amesbury, and Ipswich — worth a quick call to confirm they still reach a specific address before booking.
This reads like a small, hands-on outfit that leans on heating and boiler work as much as everyday plumbing, and where customers keep coming back by name — a solid call for anything from a leaky fixture to a heating system in trouble.
