Level Five Painting keeps showing up in its own reviews under two names — Fernando and Gustavo, the pair of painters customers ask for again by name. The West Newton company says it was founded by Jorge Aurichi in 2014 and remains owner-operated by him, working residential jobs (with some commercial work) across the Greater Boston and MetroWest area: interior and exterior painting, wallpaper installation, cabinet and furniture refinishing, and high-gloss finishes. The ratings agree with each other in a way that's hard to fake at this volume: 5 stars on Google from 46 ratings, a perfect 5.0 on Houzz from 34, and an A+ standing with the Better Business Bureau. In the last six months, five new Google reviews came in and none were negative. A customer with 30-plus years of experience owning and renovating homes had the crew repaint the interior of a three-story Davis Square condo and wrote "we cannot recommend them highly enough." Another apartment repaint left "not a drop of paint anywhere" it shouldn't be. A third customer summed up why people keep calling back: "we've used this crew multiple times now, and they consistently deliver excellent work." Across five different sources going back to 2021, nothing in the record turns up a complaint. The one wrinkle worth noting: Houzz lists the company at 10 years in business, while the BBB and the company's own founding date (2014) put it closer to 12 — a small discrepancy, not a red flag. If the job is interior painting — a condo, an apartment, a house that needs walls and trim redone without a mess — this is a company whose customers keep sending them back for the next room. Ask for Fernando or Gustavo by name if you want the crew reviewers mention most often, and get the project timeline in writing, since that's the detail happy customers here consistently point to.

The Level Five Painting team did a fabulous job painting the interior of our 3 story Davis Square condo, we cannot recommend them highly enough. We have owned multiple homes for 30+ years, and have a lot of experience with home renovation and painting projects. Level Five is by far one of the best teams we’ve had the pleasure to work with. Our interior project included repainting walls and trim in multiple furnished rooms: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 4 stairwells and halls, and the entire open floor plan living including built in cabinets - dining - kitchen area. The owner Jorge, supervisor Rodrigo, and on-site crew of 2 dedicated hard working painters Pedro and Chiego, were all highly professional, keeping us informed about the scope and timing of the job, protecting our furnishings, and working with us to timely address questions and scope changes that (inevitably) came up during the project. Because of his extensive experience and great reputation, Jorge referred us to a top notch design professional to help sort paint color choices (so many overwhelming options!), and even an HVAC guy to troubleshoot a pesky kitchen vent issue. We look forward to working with the Level Five Team on future projects.

Fernando and Gustavo did a fantastic job of painting my apartment. The edges of everything were perfect. Not a drop of paint anywhere. They were very friendly and professional.. Modified what I wanted to do in the middle of the job and they cheerfully changed course. I can't recommend them highly enough. My only suggestion would be that level five answered their phone and that I could communicate by phone as well as e-mail.

We've used this crew multiple times now, and they consistently deliver excellent work. Their painting skills are top-notch, but what really sets them apart is the care they take with prep work, cleanup, and protecting our belongings throughout the process. They treat your home with respect. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality craftsmanship and people you can trust in your space.
