LJ Construction & Roofing

From its home in Dudley, LJ Construction says it provides roofing, siding and exterior construction services to Central Massachusetts and throughout New England. In a 2023 review, a customer whose roof the company replaced in Ware said Matt responded within an hour after receiving pictures of water damage, patched the roof, measured the house and provided a quote for total replacement the next day. That 2023 customer said Matt and the LJ crew arrived at 7:00AM as scheduled and had the job completed 12.5 hours later, including new decking, chimney flashing and cleanup. Its Massachusetts HIC license, number 162496, is active on the state registry, with L.J. Construction, Inc. as the holder of record. Its Better Business Bureau page shows an A+ grade. A 2022 customer said Lukas replaced a roof less than 17 years old that had leaking skylights and ice dams, installed new skylights at the customer's request and put ice prevention sheets halfway up the walls. That 2022 customer wrote that a major rain storm came the night the work was completed and the new skylights were "Dry." In a 2024 review, a customer who found water slowly trickling into the home said the deck and the slider had not been properly flashed. That 2024 customer said that on day 2 the team flashed the deck, installed a new slider, installed new subfloor in the dining room and closely matched the house's siding in a discontinued color. A 2024 customer who had the house sided said Matt checked in regularly on the progress of the job, and that they did not find a single nail after the work, a worry because of the customer's dogs. A 2024 customer who used the company for a sliding door and a bay window said Matt kept in touch throughout the construction. A 2023 customer said the company replaced the roof on a 150-year-old house, fixed some missing siding trim and removed an unneeded chimney. In a 2021 review, a customer who had shingles come off after a storm said they came and inspected the roof, replaced the missing shingles and replaced the vent boot.
