MACHADO CUSTOM PROJECTS INC.

A windstorm brought the ceiling panels down in one homeowner's sunroom around 2018. Writing about it in 2021, that customer said Ilson Machado did an absolutely beautiful job on the repair, charged reasonably, and — the detail people remember — had the crew clean up after themselves; by the time of the review Machado was back remodeling the same sunroom. Machado Custom Projects describes itself as a family-owned, licensed and insured remodeling and installation contractor in Marlborough, working residential and commercial jobs, with more than 20 years in the trade and an office that works in Portuguese, Spanish and English. The listed work runs from kitchens and bathrooms to additions, basements, decks, garages and new homes. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active on the state registry. BuildZoom separately lists a construction supervisor licence for the company, five building permits recorded since 2020, and an older home improvement registration it shows as cancelled. The written history is two reviews: the 2021 sunroom account and a June 2022 Houzz customer who praised the build planning, the finishing touches and the timelines across several projects. For a mid-sized remodel or an addition, Machado is worth a quote; ask for a job finished in the last year or two, a written schedule, and who is on site supervising day to day.
