Mahoney Construction

Bolts no one would ever see, reordered so they matched the others: that is what a 2014 Houzz reviewer remembered about the new deck Mahoney Construction built. The Brookline company describes itself as a builder, remodeler and developer focused on kitchen, bathroom and whole-house remodeling, and its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles, listed under Charles Mahoney, say it has 31 years of experience. Its written reviews run from 2014 to 2020. That 2014 customer credited Charlie and his team, especially Elson, with sensitivity to cost, flexibility when plans changed and a willingness to redo things that weren't quite right. The one knock was time: the finishing details took a long while to wrap up, though the family could use the deck in the meantime. In a 2019 Angi review, a customer said Charles delivered everything he said he would, on time and professionally, and planned to work with him again. A 2020 Angi review gave 4.5 stars with a one-word comment. BuildZoom shows 44 permitted projects under Charles R Mahoney and lists construction supervisor license #CS-072576. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #184715, is active.
