In March 2024 a customer whose sewer line had been backed up for over a week — after another business kept pushing them out and never showed — called Kyle of Maine Drain at the end of the day on a Friday. He answered immediately. He and his brother showed up at 5:45 as promised, dug the debris out, cleared the line of roots, and were done by 7:15; the customer could finally shower and wash dishes. In January 2025 a homeowner on town sewer had the main line out of the house snaked on a Sunday; they were there within 2 hours from an hour away, the customer watched the whole process on their camera, and the tree roots grown through the line were ground up and removed. A September 2023 reviewer wrote that they solved the problem and rejuvenated the sewer pipe. In May 2024 Maine Drain came the same day for a mobile home kitchen drain at the customer's parents' residence. In May 2025 a reviewer had Kyle and Adam check two basement floor drains and locate the lines, and added that they are now part of Dave's World. Maine Drain holds 4.5 stars from 40 Google ratings. In October 2024 a one-star Google review came from customers who wanted help locating the end of a drain pipe leaving their basement. They wrote that the techs put in minimal effort with minimal communication, that when the bill was questioned after the scope was unsuccessful in their eyes the tech snapped "fine don't pay it," that they were charged $375 for 45 minutes, and that the office refused to answer their call afterward. In December 2023 someone who dialed the wrong number by mistake wrote that the guy who answered could not have been ruder.
Kyle and Adam come out to check on two drains in the basement floor. Excellent job determining their condition and location of the lines. Very thorough, courteous and friendly. Highly recommend them. They are now part of Dave’s World.
I had to have the main sewer line out of my house snaked out! I am on town sewer but am responsible out to the main line! I had issues on a Sunday and once I made the call they were here within 2 hours and they are an hour away! I got to watch the whole process via the camera they use while they work! Tree roots grown thru the line are now ground up and removed! Very friendly and excellent people to deal with! I highly recommend them!
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They get the job done and at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend using this company! They did great work and were so friendly. I love dealing with friendly people!! Thanks again Kyle!
As small business owners ourselves we like to use small local companies so we reached out for help locating the end of a drain pipe exiting our basement. The techs seemed less than impressed to help, put in minimal effort with minimal communication then when the bill was questioned after the scope was unsuccessful in their eyes the tech snapped with “fine don’t pay it” which is not our intention since labor and materials does cost the company something. They took our $375 for 45 minutes of time and left us with no further information to help our search. When we called the office number they refused to answer our call to explain the poor experience we had.
