Appliance installations that needed extra problem-solving are among the jobs customers described hiring Mario for. Angi and HomeAdvisor identify Mario's General Services in Revere and list appliance, plumbing and electrical services. Both display a 4.8-star average from 22 ratings; the written customer accounts date from 2016 through 2019. In a February 2019 review, a customer said Mario responded immediately after a difficult washer/dryer installation by Home Depot and completed the work they needed, including going to a store for a part. Another customer, writing in February 2017, described a dryer job where he improved duct flow to prevent lint blockage and removed a door from its hinges to get the dryer out. That reviewer also praised his quick response and reasonable quote. A September 2017 customer described Mario and his helper arriving late in the evening for a garbage-disposal job. They agreed to return the next morning after realizing how long the work would take. The customer said they arrived before the scheduled time, unclogged the kitchen sink drain and installed a new disposal, with Mario answering questions along the way. A separate March 2017 review said he found and fixed a drain problem that required more than a simple snake, while keeping to the original quoted price. Other older accounts describe adapting the work to the situation. In June 2017, a customer said a planned microwave installation proved impossible because of code, so Mario replaced the existing stove hood instead and removed a bird's nest from the exhaust pipe. A November 2016 reviewer said he fixed a shaking kitchen disposal and also dealt with a bulb broken inside an exhaust-fan socket. In January 2019, a customer praised his maintenance advice and said he tested the completed work before leaving.
