McNiff Plumbing & Heating

McNiff Plumbing & Heating says it provides plumbing, heating, water-heater, gas-fitting, drain and residential remodeling services from Shrewsbury across central Massachusetts, names Sean McNiff as owner and team leader, and reports 20 years in business. Sean McNiff holds Massachusetts plumber license 16341-PL-M, which is active on the state registry. A recent customer whose water heater was over 15 years old said McNiff called back immediately, set an appointment for the next day, and kept working once they realized how much dirt and debris was in there. A customer who expected a job to take more than a day said they figured out the problem and got the new water heater and an electrician there the same day. A recent customer said their old tank water heater was converted to a tankless one. A recent customer said Sean did a clean job switching out an old Navien boiler for the NHB-110H model. When Sean stopped by to help map out a salt-based water softener, one customer said he thought he smelled gas and recommended calling the fire department; it turned out to be a gas leak, and he came right back to assist. Sean also helped a recent customer facilitate a tub and shower remodel, with a price quote that customer called reasonable for the amount of work. A 2025 customer wrote that Sean said he had time that afternoon and had a new hot water tank installed within a couple of hours. A 2024 customer said Sean handled recurring annual maintenance and individual plumbing issues for them. A 2023 customer said they hired him to upgrade baseboard heating in a living room to a high efficiency system. A 2023 customer described a $1,200 payment dispute, writing that he came to the house two months later saying he had not been paid although their bank statement showed the money went to him, and that he banged on the door.
