Merrimack Pest Control is a Middleton, MA exterminator that works across the Merrimack Valley, and it says it is family owned and operated as a division of B & B Pest Control. The company describes John Bozarjian Jr. joining John Bozarjian Sr. as owner in 2012, calls him a licensed and certified exterminator with more than twenty years in the trade, and says five full-time technicians work with him. The work it advertises is general pest control for homes and businesses alike: ants and carpenter ants, termites, bed bugs, rodents, and tick and mosquito yard treatment. Its own stated service area is Andover, Dracut, Haverhill, Lawrence, Lowell, Methuen and North Andover. The independent record is thin and dated. One written Google review exists, from February 2018, in which a customer called the company fast, knowledgeable and reliable and said it took care of the problem at a fair rate. Google's 5-star average is built on that single rating, so it carries almost no weight either way, and nothing published since then speaks to how the company works today. The 40th-anniversary claim on its own site is the company's own statement, and so is the licensed-and-certified description of its owner. Massachusetts licenses pesticide applicators through the state, so ask for the applicator licence number and check it directly. This is a reasonable call if you want a long-established local exterminator rather than a national brand, but go in expecting to do your own diligence: ask for the licence, ask for two or three recent customer references in your town, and get the guarantee terms in writing before booking.
