Our condo had some rotting clapboards in a very inconvenient place -- on a wall adjacent to and above skylights on the third floor. The roof around the skylights was sloped with very little room for the workers to stand. I had nightmares about whomever was going to do the job of falling off the roof! Greg and his workers came up with a clever way to reach the claps safely by building a little wooden platform - like a file box cover - to slip over the skylights that workers could stand on. They completed the job in 3/4ths of a day, while the company's proposal was based on a likely two-day project. Had I known it would be that quick, I would have negotiated for a lower price. Best I can tell, the work was done carefully and properly. Greg is an honest, upfront, well-educated contractor, and properly registered with the state's Home Improvement Contractor program. He provided an insurance certificate on request. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
