Millena Flooring

Millena Flooring is a family-owned, Milford, Massachusetts-based flooring contractor run by Paulo, offering hardwood installation, sanding and refinishing, laminate, and vinyl plank flooring across the MetroWest and Central Massachusetts area, including Framingham, Worcester, Newton, Natick, and Hopkinton. The company self-reports 22 years in business and holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. The review record is dominated by detailed, specific praise for hardwood sanding and refinishing work — reviewers describe decades-old, heavily worn floors, and even floors damaged by mold, restored to look new, often completed in a single day with photo and video updates sent throughout the job. A recurring and distinctive theme is Millena being called in specifically to fix work that other flooring companies had botched: reviewers across 2022 and 2024 describe Paulo and his crew correcting polyurethane beading, stain bubbles, and sanding imperfections that a prior contractor refused to fix, and repairing a staircase job another company had ruined. The company holds a 4.8-star average from 122 Google reviews, and 4.7 stars on both Angi and HomeAdvisor. Recent activity has been light — 2 reviews in the last six months, none negative — against a long track record dating to 2017. Worth asking about before booking, especially for anything other than hardwood: the written record includes a small number of specific complaints distinct from the hardwood praise. A 2024 review reported a missed estimate appointment where the company never showed. A 2022 review described vinyl plank flooring that began splitting, cracking, and peeling within months of an October 2022 installation, with the reviewer saying the owner would not acknowledge the problem; a separate 2023 review cited low product quality without further detail. These are a small minority against many strongly detailed positive reviews, and the specific complaints that give detail cluster on vinyl rather than the hardwood work the company is most praised for. Millena Flooring is a strong call for hardwood sanding, refinishing, and installation — including rescuing a job gone wrong elsewhere — backed by years of detailed, specific praise. For vinyl plank flooring or a first estimate appointment, it's worth confirming scheduling and asking about the product and installation warranty up front.
