Minute Man Oil

This business pads the labor charge, then refuses to discuss billing. Minuteman's labor rate was $175 per hour (!) and I was billed for more hours than actually provided. My requests for explanation of the bill were ignored. Very unprofessional. They may come out quickly for service calls, but perhaps they’re readily available because they burn bridges and thus have few customers. How many good professional contractors and service providers are often available the same day? Not many. Avoid this company.

I was in a pinch and needed service fast. Casey was the only furnace repair guy in a wide radius that picked up my call. If you need help, definitely give Minuteman a ring.

If I could give higher than five stars, I would! Casey caught some issues with my plumbing to the boiler that were clearly a problem by sight. In fact, one of the issues was a pipe that was about to burst, which could be seen by the rot and rust on it. Had it burst and filled my basement with water, my boiler and hot water heater would no doubt have become history.. Casey also knew how to fix some issues with the heating that others had not caught. When Casey explained what was going on, it made 100% sense. He has also shown more than once now that he puts the customer first, even if it impacts his own time - Including an evening and a holiday.. This is not the type of customer service you typically find and I am guessing this is why Minuteman Oil has all five star ratings. It is very clear to me that Casey is an expert in his field and takes pride in his work. When I asked him how he knew so much, he mentioned that it has been a family business for years, starting with his grandfather. I’ve had my share of people who have tried to sell me something I didn’t need, and it is refreshing to be able to call on someone who is this knowledgeable and is also someone that I can trust.
