MJ Pro Energy is a Franklin, MA heating and cooling company. Its website pitches new systems with Mass Save rebates and MJ Pro's discount, and lists a service area that runs from Boston, Newton and Brookline to Walpole, Foxborough, Mansfield, Medway and Millis. Heat pump installs are the work customers describe. In a 2026 Google review, a homeowner whose ducted AC condenser had failed went with a heat pump connected to the existing duct work, received multiple Mass Save credits, and financed at 0% through Mass Save; they called the team extremely professional and responsive and said the job was completed in a very timely manner. Another 2026 review says the installation team was professional and punctual, explained the system clearly, kept the work area clean, and that the new heat pump system works very well. A 2026 review of a mini split heat pump install says they finished the project that day as promised and put tarps down to avoid damaging floors or tracking in dirt. A separate 2026 review says the installation crews followed the house rules and cleaned up after work, while noting a language barrier with most crew members, who put great effort into communicating. One 2025 review, rated 2 stars, describes a harder job: the interior units and condenser were installed according to the plan, but the household was left with no heat overnight after day one when temperatures fell to 32F, went without electricity for both days of a 200 amp service upgrade, and found the basement, yard and driveway left with debris. That reviewer also wrote that no effort was made to explain how to operate the new equipment.

I had multiple contractors give me estimates to replace the failed condenser on my ducted AC system. With MJ Pro, I went with a heat pump connected to my existing duct work and was able to receive multiple Mass Save credits and finance with 0% financing through Mass Save. The team at MJ pro was extremely professional and responsive and the job was completed in a very timely manner. I am blown away at how comfortable my home is during this heat wave! Here in New England, I will be able to use the heat from the heat pump in all but the coldest of temperatures and save some $$ on oil. I am very happy with my decision and highly recommend MJ Pro!
We had a great experience with MJ Pro Energy. The installation team was professional, punctual, and worked very hard. They explained the system clearly, kept the work area clean, and answered all of our questions. The installation was completed with great attention to detail, and the new heat pump system works very well. We highly recommend MJ Pro Energy to anyone looking for a reliable HVAC company.
MJ Pro Energy did a great job installing our mini split heat pumps. Very professional and dedicated to completing the project that day as promised. They were careful to put tarps down where they would be working so as to not damage any floors or track in any dirt. I would highly recommend them.
Great company with amazing installations crews. They respect and followed my house rules. Thy cleaned up after work. Very professional in every way. A bit of language barrier, most crews members didn't communicate well in English but they put great effort to communicate as much as they could.
The interior units and condenser were installed according to the plan, but the rest of the installation process was difficult. At the end of day one, we were left with no heat overnight when outdoor temps fell to 32F. The basement was left an absolute mess. Tools and coils of wire left in walking paths. The 200 amp service upgrade took two days; one day for the panel changeout and another day for the meter replacement. We were without electricity for both days. The new outdoor meter was placed lower than the old one, exposing unpainted siding that clearly does not match the rest of the house. Also the conduit from the new meter was not installed where the old conduit had been, again exposing unpainted siding. Then they left a mess of the yard, basement, and driveway with screws, wire stripping’s, debris from cutting holes, zip ties, electrical tape, a small battery, pieces off the units. Also, at the end of the first day when we were curious and looking at the work that had been done, we found a bottle with what appeared to be urine in our basement. In the basement, when they drilled holes through joists they did not use a drop cloth and got wood shavings all over shelving with arts and craft supplies stored in it. We had some difficulty communicating due to a language barrier. At the end of day 2 when the job was completed, the electrician forgot to bring in the manual and paperwork for the space heater he has just installed. He told us everything was good and goodbye. No effort was made to ensure we understood how to operate our new equipment (water heater, 6 mini splits, and a heater for the bathroom).
