In an April 2024 review, a homeowner wrote that Francis took on a job most flooring contractors had turned away, then came back multiple times until every detail was right. More than a dozen reviewers describe that kind of work — old, damaged or awkward floors that someone else did not want. Most of the reviews name the same person: Francis (some spell it Frances). A May 2026 customer called N.A.M. a small family-owned business that gave a prompt estimate and was quick to schedule. On Google it holds 5 stars from 72 ratings, with 41 written reviews going back to 2021. The restoration accounts are the specific ones. A January 2023 customer had almost 100-year-old white oak finished across 2,400 square feet in five working days. In February 2024 another described 80-year-old floors made to look new; in April 2022, a homeowner mid-renovation said the crew matched 40-year-old boards to new flooring. An October 2025 reviewer had sections the cats had ruined patched back; a June 2024 customer said the team restored floors a previous contractor had damaged; and in July 2026 a homeowner with floors in rough shape at a newly bought house had them looking new in a couple of days. Dust is the other thing customers keep mentioning. A June 2024 reviewer writing in Portuguese said the crew was fast and left no dust after sanding. In March 2023 a customer said Francis wiped down her kitchen afterward to keep the dust down, and a November 2024 customer said he cleaned the counter tops before he left. Scheduling and price tend to come up together. A June 2025 homeowner with a challenging setup was given a few options, said the price was competitive among the quotes they collected, and that every committed date and time was met. A March 2023 customer had an honest price within 48 hours, picked the product, and had it installed a week later. A September 2024 customer wanted only a buff and fresh coat on the bamboo floors at their dance studio and found the crew flexible and fast. Old pine, parquet, white oak, or a patch job another contractor declined — that is this crew's ground, and it stretches a little further: an August 2022 customer had floor boards replaced and the ceiling beams sanded in the same visit. Get the scope in writing, including any patching and how the new finish gets matched to the old, and ask how many days you will need to stay off the floors.
