Neeeco is a Wilmington insulation and energy-efficiency contractor, and one recent customer said a home energy assessment with Wayne led to insulation work in a small attic, where two techs, Anderson and Howard, arrived on time and Anderson explained every step. That customer said Neeeco handled the Mass Save paperwork and left a small residual amount to pay. The company's website describes it as a Mass Save program partner delivering home energy assessments, insulation, air sealing, windows and doors, shower and bath upgrades and solar. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 3979 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 185222, is active on the state registry under NEEECO LLC. One recent customer said energy auditor Paul Tavares showed up on time, explained the recommendations and discussed the pros and cons of different ways of approaching energy savings. A customer with a small, dusty attic with limited access said Joao Sampaio assessed how the insulation was set up despite a broken AC on a hot day. A customer said Wayne explained the incentives for moving from oil to a heat pump, inspected the house for insulation and installed new thermostats. In a 2025 review, a customer said Mitz prepped the floors with safeguards, finished an insulation job in less than half a day and showed pictures of the completed work. A recent commenter converting from an oil boiler to mini splits, who needed crawl spaces insulated, said Neeco came back weeks later to finish and almost put the whole project behind. “Just be careful who you have the energy audit done by. It was a wait for an appointment through Mass Save so I had one done by Neeeco thinking I could then select whoever I wanted to do the work. I was incorrect and then I was locked into using Neeeco. They were awful, skipped an entire wall of my house because they didn’t have scaffolding to reach it. They should both be doing the same audit but as noted above there is often some degree of upselling. Also FYI Neeco is also an IIC and receives allocated work from the lead vendors in addition to their separate HPC business. Abode does offer inspections post work and will hold HPC’s accountable.
