That's the assessment. The installation that follows tells a more mixed story. On Reddit, several homeowners describe real problems with the actual work: a 2024 post said Neeeco 'botched' a job, installing roof vents on the wrong side, doing a hack repair when asked to fix it, and substituting fiberglass for the EPS insulation that had been promised — the homeowner later found cold spots throughout the house. A 2025 account described a hole blown in a plaster wall during blow-in insulation, patched with a spackle job the customer called 'horrible.' The clearest thing to take from this: the assessment visit is reliably a good experience, but the quality of the installation work that follows is less consistent, and Mass Save's structure can limit your ability to switch installers if the first crew doesn't deliver. Before scheduling, it's worth asking directly what materials will be used where, and getting specifics in writing rather than relying on the audit report alone.
