Nehemiah Construction & Services

One Google reviewer had Nehemiah Construction & Services bring a chimney up to code at a reasonable price; another came back for several renovation jobs and separately saw the detailed work Lester did gutting and renovating his own house. This Boston general contractor says it's faith-driven, has been doing this work for about a decade, and covers Cambridge, Quincy, Somerville, and much of the rest of Greater Boston, with services that also include painting, roofing, and landscaping. Both of its two Google reviews are five stars and both are recent, from July and September of this year — one about the chimney repair, the other about multiple renovation projects and Lester's own home renovation. HomeAdvisor and Angi both list a trade license under #217476, expiring 11/20/2027, along with concrete, flooring, roofing, and remodel work that includes bathroom and kitchen jobs. Those directory profiles show the company at a Malden address, different from the Boston address on its own site — worth asking about directly. A reasonable call for general remodeling or a chimney repair in the Boston area; confirm the trade license directly with the state, get a written scope for any larger renovation, and ask for references from recent jobs.
